
Harmindar K Sran
The author, Harmindar K. Sran, is a registered environmental health specialist (REHS) with the State of California. She has a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and a background in environmental sciences. She enforced the State mandated Health and Safety codes and local ordinances at the public facilities for a local government. Early in her career of thirty-two plus years with the City of Berkeley, she learned that handwashing was not always being taken that seriously and something must be done to make a difference.
She was born and raised in the Fiji Islands. Aside from her hobbies of cooking, gardening, traveling and homemaking she also has interest in music, poetry, and writing. She lives with her husband, and their three children and grandchildren live close by in San Francisco Bay Area.
